Procedures for Dunaway Elementary
Waxahachie Independent School District
Report Cards are usually sent home on the Thursday following the end of each grading period. Students receive Report Cards every 6 weeks. Progress Reports will be sent at regular intervals of 3 weeks.
Students in grades 1-5 receive Report Cards with the numerical grading system. Any grade below 70 is failing. Daily work will constitute 40% of the grade and assessments and major projects will constitute 60% of the grade. Report Cards must be signed by the parent/guardian and returned to school.
